"Confesiones" has been part of We Art Foundation's repertoire since 2023, developed and performed in Miami by local artists. In 2026, We Art Stage took the production to Los Angeles to compete in the Brisk Festival at the Morgan-Wixson Theatre in Santa Monica. Following its festival performances on September 5 and 6, "Confesiones" advanced to the finals, returning to the stage for the final round of competition on September 11 and 12, where the jury awarded it the Special Jury Mention for Best Play. This achievement embodies the mission of We Art Stage: sustaining the growth of a work over time and carrying it beyond its point of origin. Through this production, 11 Miami-based artists — actors, director, writhers and production team — performed in a competitive international setting, reached new audiences, and built professional visibility and connections with creators from across the country and abroad. "Confesiones" shows what long-term investment in local talent can achieve: a work born in Miami, nurtured over multiple seasons, and recognized by a professional jury in one of the most important entertainment markets in the United States.  

"Antes Muerta" has been part of We Art Foundation's repertoire since Jun 2026, developed and performed in Miami by local artists. In 2026, We Art Stage brought the production to Los Angeles to compete in the Brisk Festival at the Morgan-Wixson Theatre in Santa Monica. Following its festival performances on 22 y 23 Augost, "Antes Muerta" was selected as a finalist and returned to the stage for the final round of competition on 11 y 12 September, standing among the festival's top productions alongside works from across the country and abroad. Reaching the finals is a significant milestone for a production born in Miami. Through "Antes Muerta," 7 Miami-based artists — actors, director, and production team — performed in a competitive international setting, reached new audiences, and gained professional visibility and connections that extend well beyond our local community. Together with "Confesiones," which received the Special Jury Mention for Best Play, "Antes Muerta" made We Art Foundation one of the few organizations at the 2026 festival to place two productions in the finals — clear evidence of the depth of talent in Miami's theater community and of We Art Stage's commitment to giving local artists access to national and international stages.
