Microtheater Miami by We Art presents Subject to Suggestion:
About what we believe, what we are, and what we pretend to be.
A cycle of six short plays by Alberto Rojas Apel, directed by Constanza Espejo together with Damián Testa.
In this cycle, different characters are shaped by what they believe, imagine, fear, or desire. Through humor, absurdity, emotion, and unexpected situations, each piece raises a question: how much of what we experience is real, and how much is influenced by our mind, by others, or by the stories we tell ourselves?
Subject to Suggestion brings together the plays Chico Pizza, Believe It or Not, It’s Just a Way of Being, Better Dead, Conversations with the Joker, and Multiverse, all connected by one central idea: suggestion as an invisible force that transforms the characters’ perception, relationships, and decisions.
An agile, intimate, and surprising theater experience, where reality shifts just a few inches to reveal how fragile, funny, and deeply human we become when we are subject to what we believe.
Performance in Spanish.
